Ingredients:
  • White Bread Slices - 6
  • Milk - 1/2 litre 
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup + 1 tsp
  • Cashews nuts - 3 tsp
  • Raisins - 3 tsp
  • Elachi Powder - 1 tsp
  • Saffron Strands - a pinch
  • Ghee - 2 tsp





Preparation procedure:
Step 1: 
First fry the nuts and raisins in a tsp of ghee till they turn gold. Keep them aside.
Step 2:
Take bread slices and cut the crust off. Now cut them in diagonals. Toast the bread till it turns golden. Take them into a plate.
Step 3:
Boil milk in a large pan till it is reduced to half, stirring often. Once it is almost reduced, add in 1 tsp of sugar and mix well. Add in a pinch of saffron and mix well.
Step 4:
Take sugar in a sauce pan. Add in 1/2 cup of water and bring it to boil. Boil it for 3 mins, add in Elachi powder and mix well.
Step 5:
Now, take the toasted bread and dip in the syrup. Arrange it in a bowl. Scatter over the fried nuts, pour over the milk.
Let this soak for 30 mins.

Finally... Serve!!
